Brisbane Invitational | ALPG Pro Am

Winner of 2019 Aveo Brisbane Invitational - Whitney Hillier

Whitney Hillier wins 2019 Aveo Brisbane Invitational

Whitney Hillier wins the 2019 Aveo Brisbane Invitational with a record breaking 69 to be 2 ahead of nearest rivals Paige Stubbs and Breanne Gill on 71.  McLeod congratulates Whitney on her first ALPG win.  Conditions were perfect for scoring following the downpour yesterday, and Whitney made the most of the course coming home with four birdies over the last six holes to be 5 under par.  Whitney has played in all five Brisbane Invitational events and it showed today with all of the top placing players being multiple repeat competitors.

In a tie for fourth place at 2-under par were Kiwi Chantelle Cassidy, QLD native Katelyn Must and the NSW duo of Rebecca Artis and Celina Yuan, while defending champion, Englishwoman Felicity Johnson finished a shot further back at 1-under.

The Brisbane Invitational Shootout winner for 2019 was Gennai Goodwin who fired a shot to within a metre of the 18th hole pin.  Congratulations Gennai who takes home $1,000.

Thanks ladies of the ALPG for another great event.
